A Newly Built Home for World Travelers

Designing a young couple’s first home together is always a special task. In this case, it’s a newly built apartment of over 100 square meters, which our clients had been searching for a long time — so their personal needs, tastes, and practical considerations played an especially important role in the design process. Since the floor plan did not allow for major alterations — the walls remained in their original positions and the flooring was already in place — the greatest challenge was to create a complex, multifunctional home while adapting to the existing conditions. The living room, kitchen, and dining area were combined into a single open space, but with only 24 m² available, the dining function was fulfilled by a custom dining table integrated with the kitchen island.
