We envisioned a separate-entry level of a multi-generational family home for a young couple preparing to start their life together with their growing family. A key priority for them was to have an open-plan kitchen and living area, allowing them to stay connected while cooking and spending time with guests.
We designed a clean, Scandinavian-style living room where light tones and natural materials take center stage. All windows overlook a leafy garden, which provides shade throughout the apartment. For this reason, using bright, airy colors in the interior was especially important. The extensive use of wood surfaces adds a warm, welcoming atmosphere to the living space.
