Apartment expanded with a nursery

We redesigned the home of a Hungarian-French couple in preparation for the arrival of their first child. The apartment had been renovated several years earlier to suit the needs of just the two of them. With the family growing, a new nursery became necessary.
Our aim was to create a cozy atmosphere, so we selected natural materials throughout the design. Some of the existing furniture had to be integrated into the new concept, and the plans were tailored to fit their established habits. For example, the ceiling-mounted projector and screen—preferred by the clients for movie nights—were kept in place.
We also created a brighter, more functional workspace to better support working from home.
