ARADI STREET
On the commission of a foreign investor businessman, we designed the interior for a newly built apartment on Aradi Street. The property will be rented to a third party, so the goal was to create a neutral yet stylish design using high-quality and timeless materials. The focus was on crafting an elegant, versatile space that would appeal to a wide range of potential tenants, ensuring both durability and aesthetic appeal.
CHALLENGE
We had to transform a small apartment into a spacious and airy space with practical built-in storage units. At the owner’s request, we demolished and moved walls, which required the assistance of a structural engineer. The kitchen was given the most space in the layout, with the addition of an island. Two toilets were installed: one in a separate room and the other in the bathroom, where, after careful space planning, both a shower and a bathtub were incorporated. The overall goal was to optimize the layout for functionality while creating a modern and comfortable living space.

The concept
The apartment features a clean, modern, minimalist style with a color palette that is widely popular, which helped facilitate easy rental at an attractive price. We incorporated built-in furniture throughout the property, creating plenty of storage space to ensure a practical and organized layout. The open-plan living room and kitchen area includes a large kitchen island, making the space feel even more expansive. The natural light flowing through the skylights further enhances the airy and open atmosphere.
To maintain the clean and functional design, we used special wallpaper doors that almost disappear, blending seamlessly with the wall cladding and effectively absorbing the space. A warmer, more tonal effect was achieved with a custom-made wall panel crafted by a carpenter. The long vertical stripes and horizontal patterns on the walls also visually increase the perceived size of the space.
The delicate, nature-inspired finishes and the high-quality materials with exciting pattern variations not only create a stunning visual impact but also make the apartment timeless. The bathroom stands out with the use of modern black sanitary ware, as well as a luxurious separate shower and bathtub, which further increased the value of the property.
In the bedroom, we incorporated hidden wallpaper doors and built-in furniture, which visually enlarged the room while maintaining a cohesive and unified feel. The entire apartment was designed with modern minimalism in mind, offering elegance and functional solutions for potential renters.

bedroom
A bedroom design was modified to incorporate a more impressive wallpaper and additional storage space under the window, as requested by the owner. Thanks to the slanted roof, an abundance of natural light floods the space, making the clean design feel airy and open. The back wall was made even more exciting with Orac decorative moldings. With nature-inspired colors, we created a cozy yet minimalist environment.
Comfort is provided by a fabulously soft bed with a padded headboard, chosen from the Italian Samoa collection. The special feature of this bed is its fully customizable upholstery, with options for both fabric and color. The perfect blend of luxury and comfort is provided by the memory foam mattress, which comes with a massage function. The wall-mounted nightstands are not only stylishly modern, but their lightness also adds a captivating touch to the room.

Living room
The living room, although slightly reduced in size due to the kitchen, does not feel cramped thanks to the open spaces, practical furniture, and clever solutions. The built-in Eclisse brand, frame-less wallpaper doors give the room a seamless feel. With small solutions, we can create optical illusions and maximize even the smallest spaces, transforming them into airy environments. The custom-made wall panel behind the TV, crafted by a carpenter, provides a clean and cozy atmosphere with its natural colors, breaking up yet complementing the minimalist design. We introduced a refreshing color scheme into the room with carefully chosen accessories.
The recessed spotlights on the walls are aesthetically pleasing and discreet, fitting perfectly into the modern environment. The practicality is ensured by the customizable Samoa Divani sofa, whose seating surface can be extended, and the backrests are adjustable, making it a luxurious experience after a long workday, perfect for binge-watching.
Thanks to the open-plan layout of the living room and kitchen, this area became the heart of the apartment, blending the entryway seamlessly with the rest of the space. It received plenty of additional storage, and we also changed the direction of the entrance door, which is covered in steel wood veneer, to prioritize comfort. The kitchen was separated with a partition, and we enhanced the modern style with a LED-lit mirror and trendy black handles.

KITCHEN
The kitchen presented a challenge because, according to the design concept, we needed to plan a single-line kitchen along an entire wall, while also providing space for a kitchen island. Due to the layout, two renderings were created: in one, we enlarged the kitchen and incorporated shelves along the sloped roof to add a stylish effect, while in the other, we complemented the design with decorative wallpaper and wall panels. One of the key elements in the kitchen became the Elica range hood. The heat-resistant Dekton worktops are not only beautiful and elegant, but also compatible with all types of kitchens and interior design styles.
Thanks to the black faucets, we achieved a modern yet minimalistic look. The refreshing pop of color in the space comes from the orange bar stools. The round dining table made of mango wood is a perfect choice for a modern, youthful interior, and its smaller size allows it to fit in even a compact dining area.

Bathroom
Two renderings were created for the bathroom to give the owner the opportunity to explore both color schemes and imagine themselves in the interior. We achieved a unique effect with large Marazzi 120×120 terrazzo tiles, which extend slightly onto the wall, enhancing the space and creating an optical illusion that makes the room appear larger. The Flaminia sanitary ware and matte black faucets provide a stylish and sophisticated look to the bathroom. The furniture, custom-made by a carpenter, is of excellent quality, offering not only great moisture resistance but also exceptional durability and visual appeal.
One of the challenges in designing the bathroom was that the owner wanted both a bathtub and a shower, so we needed to gain additional space from the adjacent bedroom to make this possible.
