designing a second home for teenage siblings
This 92 m² newly built apartment serves as a second base for an active family: the teenage brother and sister frequently visit Budapest for their sports matches. The goal was to provide them with the same level of comfort here as they have at home. Modern, clean-lined spaces, a light colour palette, plenty of built-in furniture and surprisingly ample storage ensure that nothing is left out, even when they arrive from training at the same time.
When selecting materials, it was important that they be easy to clean, durable, and within a reasonable mid-range category. This apartment currently serves as a sports base and will later become a university headquarters – so the furnishings must meet the needs of both the current teenage years and future young adulthood.
